Erie Town Fair and Hot Air Balloon Festival

The Erie Town Fair draws visitors and residents alike to appreciate Arts, Crafts, Vendors and excellent Food. All Activities take place in Historic Old Town Erie.  This is a zero waste event.

10:00 am -  4:00 pm - Visit over 200 Craft, Artists, Food and Vendor Booths.  Kid’s activities in two locations.   11:00 am - 6:00 pm - Enjoy live music and beer garden. *  12:00 pm - 1:00pm - Erie High School Jazz Band *  2:00 pm - 3:30 pm - The Otones *   4:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Funk Knuf 10:00 am - 2:00 pm - Garage Rats Car Show

Balloon Launch - May 21st and 22nd   Overview:  Arrive at 6 am to see the balloons inflate and get ready for take off. This is at a different location than the Town Fair on May 21st.  See below:

The Rocky Mountains are clearly visible in the distance as the sky comes alive with all the colors of the rainbow. This is the beginning of the annual Erie Town Fair and Balloon festival, and it is magical. Come in person from 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM each morning, and watch the balloons inflate and take flight, weather permitting.

Launch Site:

The balloons launch from the East side of Collier’s Hill, West of Erie High School on County Road 5 and Colliers Parkway.  Parking in Erie High School Lot. Please note we do not sell rides for this event.
